13th Annual Northern Michigan Golf Trip (2011) – Post Trip Summary

The 2011 golf trip is gone and in the history books. We decided to stay in our home state of Michigan again for 2011. Maybe it depends on who you ask, because the U.P. could be considered another state or even another country! Regardless, we had another great trip, with great weather. I think the black flies were a bit annoying on the Wild Bluff, but the course and views made up for it. In fact, all of the courses had some great scenery. The accommodations at Bay Mills were excellent. The close proximity of the rooms to the casino made it easy for us to gamble away the few dollars we had left at all hours of the day and night. And running into Kid Rock at the Sault Ste Marie course made a pretty cool end to the trip.
